Windows 2019 Server downgrade to 2012

Hello,

I have two Dell Poweredge R340 servers with Windows 2019 Server Essentials installed.

We have an Active Directory domain with a Windows 2003 Domain Controller which we need to remove.

The only path available to us is to downgrade one of our 2019 Servers to 2012 and then make that a domain controller.

Once that is done, we want to bring the server back up to 2019 with the licence we have and promote a second domain controller.

After that, we can then look to demote the 2003 DC.

Can I get a 2012 downgrade licence with the instance I have or do I need to buy one?
