Waves maxxaudio pro not compatible with Realtek audio driver 05 Jan 2024
I have just updated the latest audio driver from Dell.
The current version:
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_XX2DK_WIN_10.0.220.1_A82 release on 10 Jul 2023
Waves-MaxxAudio-Pro-Application_MX1PP_WIN64_5.0.41.0_A02_02 release on 31 Mar 2022
They all work well with my Dell monitor U2723QE connected to laptop through USB-C (for display, charge, and hub including the 3.5mm audio)
I can config the profile or edit the audio setting easily.
After update the audio driver: Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_214RY_WIN_10.0.235.1_A80 release on 05 Jan 2024, the Waves Maxxaudio Pro just display "default playback device is not supported". I think it should be the new Waves Maxxaudio Pro version to work with the new audio driver but I can not find it anywhere.
Is there any one has the similar issue with me?

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5510, and I have the exact same problem. Whenever I connect my airpods through bluetooth, Waves MaxxAudio Pro says "playback device is not supported", and it all began with the Jan 8, 2024 Update Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_G9CP2_WIN_6.0.9597.1_A80_01. The previous versions worked flawlessly, below are all the versions in which Waves MaxxAudio Pro worked as intended:
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_3HWW7_WIN_6.0.9202.1_A04_03 released on September 3, 2021
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_D8NNM_WIN_6.0.9247.1_A07 released on October 26, 2021
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_WWXR2_WIN_6.0.9261.1_A08_03 released on January 7, 2022
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_JHHX4_WIN_6.0.9363.2_A19_02 released on August 4, 2022
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_XXJKF_WIN_6.0.9418.1_A20_02 released on October 31, 2022
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_FFC2D_WIN_6.0.9481.1_A50_01 released on April 10, 2023
Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_RRPJK_WIN_6.0.9511.1_A77_04 released on June 1, 2023

@Fatima Bukhari So, your solution is just to install the previous version. Was it successful while the new one was installed already?

@Fatima Bukhari Your solution is waaaay too complicated. Dell should get it together so I can hear audio through my built-in laptop speakers. I wish I had never bought this piece of junk.

@Fatima Bukhari Thanks for time to describe the steps for us. However, disabling the Windows update is not a good idea. I think I will wait for the update from WaveMaxxaudio.
Many thanks.
