NOT SURE WHERE THIS NUMBER CAME FROM
Inspiron 3670
Tonight I downloaded my Microsoft account from my computer to my Android phone. After it finished doing its thing, on the phone, where it shows that my mobile device & PC are linked, it showed my email address AND the word "DESKTOP" with a series of numbers and letters.
WHERE in my Dell Account does this number appear? I want to make sure I'm not (accidentally) connected to my neighbor's internet account. I looked at my DELL account but do not find these numbers.
Please give me any help you can. I do NOT know where this DESKTOP-##### came from.

I'm so sorry to have bothered anyone with this! I ended-up 'Google'ing' it, to find out, and it told me where to find the number. As it turns-out, it's the "name" of my computer! (I never took the time to give it a 'proper' name; hence, the numbers and letters.)
Thank you to anyone who considered explaining to me how to find it.
