AW3225QF, flickering, this is ridicolous!

It is a known issue on all current OLED panels. Not sure if Dell can do much about it (would be great if it could be somehow mitigated, but not sure if much can be done).

What helps beyond obviously disabling VRR (which isn't a desirable solution), is to keep framerate fluctuations as low as can be. This could be achieved by:

- aiming to increase minimum framerates, for instance by lowering graphics settings, or.. eventually using a faster CPU/GPU. Not a guaranteed solution as some games just stutter or substantially fluctuate frametimes pretty much no matter what you do. But it can help.

- capping max fps in the in-game settings. If you cap them to 120fps, for instance, VRR flicker should get much less noticeable, at the expense of a lower framerate on the high end.

The lower the framerate fluctuations, the less VRR flicker there is.

The flickering in the third video is actually related to Nvidia drivers and Chromium browsers, it is mentioned in the driver notes and is affecting other monitors including my IPS LG monitor so that isn't a Dell issue.

The first two are OLED VRR flicker which is unfortunately just a technological weakness of QD-OLED, has been there for years now, no easy fix for it I'm afraid until Samsung redesign their panels. 

So what can i do? I test the new unit or what?

Have the same issue on  my Alienware AW3423DWF... As is see other brands like gigabyte can be better at VRR and flickering. My model flicker evene with constant 100 fps when gsync is enabled... I think i will return it... Colors and contrast are perfect but ruined by flickering... and i did not pay such ,money to not use vrr and stick to old vsync stuttering.... 

@Aureumchaos​ my unit has flickering also if i disable VRR and G-sync, and limit fps to 120. I test the flickering by this site, and i can see flash the greey color
